First and 10: Thoughts on Mike Gillislee and the end of OTAs, while Robert Kraft weighs in on Gronk trade talk taken at BSJ Headquarters (Patriots)

Adam Richins/Boston Sports Journal

Welcome to first and 10, a roundup of all the (mostly) Patriots-related news you need to start your Wednesday. Grab your coffee and let’s get to it.

Good morning! We're going to dispense with the formalities and jump right into the links:

1. Greg looks at Mike Gillislee and his place in the running back rotation this spring.

2. I've got three Patriots-related thoughts on some news from Tuesday, including the fact that the team called off the last two days of OTA practices for the spring and Robert Kraft dismissing last weekend's talk of a Rob Gronkowski trade.

3. Mike Reiss offers his thoughts on the Patriots deciding to cancel the last two days of OTAs.

4. Phil Perry looks at the Patriots' receiver situation, and tries to figure out who will stay and who will go.

5. We've looked at strength of schedule pieces for 2018 before -- the best ones are still from Warren Sharp, in my opinion -- but here's another one, via CBS Sports, that deals with just the AFC East.

6. A few days behind on this one, but Riley McAtee from The Ringer says even if Julian Edelman is out for four games, the Patriots should be fine.

7. Jacob Feldman of SI looks at Mike Vrabel and Matt Patricia exporting the Bill Belichick Method to Tennessee and Detroit.

8. Nate Solder might not be the only ex-Patriot on the Giants' offensive line this year. Jon Halapio, a 2014 pick of New England, looks like he could be the starting center in New York.

9. Dion Lewis is settling in with the Titans.

10. Andrew Luck is throwing footballs. Maybe Chris Ballard was right?
