Five second-half goals decide this one: Sure, there’s no scoring in soccer. Sure. That memo didn’t reach BC Place, as the Revolution and Whitecaps made the back of the net explode five times in the final 45 minutes, and six times overall. Three of those goals came in the first six minutes after the restart, and the Revs took command entering the final half an hour as Teal Bunbury one-timed the football beyond Vancouver goalkeeper Brian Rowe’s mitts on a Diego Fagundez helper. But with just a little more than 15 minutes left in the normal 90, Christian Techera finishes his hat trick on the counter, slotting home on Yordy Reyna’s assist.
