Good morning!

  • The Celtics unexpectedly became the lead story in Boston yesterday in wake of the unfortunate news that Kyrie Irving will be shut down for the year. The C's were going to have to try to win a playoff round without him in all likelihood anyway, but now become true underdogs in their quest to make some noise deep in the East playoffs.

  • How exactly did Irving go from a 3-6 week return timetable to out for the season? B-Robb caught up with Dr. Flynn last night to get some answers so make sure you check that out.

  • The Wizards' loss to the Cavs last night makes them the frontrunner now to face Boston in Round 1. That would not be an easy matchup for Boston now that John Wall is back in the fold.

  • The walkoff win for the Red Sox at Fenway now gives them the longest winning streak in the major league baseball at six. They'll get a rare Friday off day to soak it in today.
