Here's a look at some of the moves the Patriots have made in the last few days and their overall impact on the salary cap.



1) We learned the official numbers for LaAdrian Waddle. ESPN's Mike Reiss reported the details -- one year with a maximum value of $1.75 million. Waddle's 2018 cap number of $1.6375 million consists of:


  • Base salary: $800,000

  • Offseason Workout Bonus: $50,000

  • Incentives: $250,000

  • Signing bonus: $200,000

  • Roster bonus: $337,500 ($28,125 for each game Waddle is active). Since Waddle was active for 12 games in 2017 his LTBE (Likely to be Earned) amount is $337,500.
