BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- Welcome to first and 10, a roundup of all the (mostly) Patriots-related news you need to start your day:
—My three favorite things from Patriots’ media availability on Wednesday? One, when a few reporters were talking with Brandon Bolden and Dion Lewis about Jonas Gray’s stand-up career. (Which included him serving as an opening act for Dustin “Screech” Diamond.) Neither one of them could believe it. Two, talking to Bernard Reedy about the Curse of No. 17. (Check out his thoughts in the notebook.) And three, Danny Amendola and James Harrison swapping jerseys. (Also in the notebook.)
--Rob Gronkowski is going to play. He was limited on Wednesday, but things certainly appear to be trending in the right direction. They'll clear him fully and completely before the end of the week. (The same is likely for Deatrich Wise.) It wouldn't be a Patriots' playoff week unless there was a little drama.
