With just over one week remaining until the NBA trade deadline, the rumor mill is beginning to heat up surrounding potential trade rental candidates across the league. One of the top players available in that mold is Grizzlies guard Tyreke Evans and the Celtics have been one of several teams linked to the veteran in recent days.
Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer followed up a report from Marc Stein of the New York Times about the Sixers' interest in Evans.
