BSJ Daily Briefing 01.30.18: Dispatch from the Great White North

Good morning!

A few random thoughts as I wonder where the NFL went wrong to end up here...

• Seriously, it hit me when I was walking back from the Apple Store: I'm stuck in a mall for seven days. As Mrs. BSJ can attest with my enthusiasm for shopping, this is my own personal hell:

• It's currently 3 degrees as I write this.


• Stoneham's Nancy Kerrigan is here for some reason. Maybe it's some I, Tonya revenge tour.


• With the two black gloves and the weirdo black hat, I'm pretty sure Tom Brady is just trolling us at this point.


• So Rob Gronkowski can take part in two football practices, but he can't attend media night? I'm pretty sure Bill Belichick is trolling the NFL at this point.


• If his performance on Monday night was any indication, Chad O'Shea is going to be even worse on the coordinator conference calls than Matt Patricia, if O'Shea takes over for Josh McDaniels. I didn't know that was possible.


• You know, the Boston media outside its natural habitat is actually a pretty likable group.


• If some of his conversations with others were any indication, I think we can expect Jonathan Kraft to launch WickershamReportInContext.com any day now.


• Not everyone hates the Patriots. Vikings fans HATE the Eagles.
