Since the Patriots now have the opportunity to repeat, I thought it would be appropriate to now show how much the Patriots roster changed in just one year.
The first set of tables show the current roster status of the 69 Patriots who were on the Patriots roster the day of Super Bowl LI. This illustrates why sometimes people say the NFL stands for "Not For Long" -- the game was played on Feb. 5, 2017. Almost a year later, the Patriots roster looks very different.
As you can see below, 22 Patriots (16 active and six on Injured Reserve) currently have a chance to win a second Super Bowl ring with the Patriots. Those players are bolded.
In another post, I list the 19 Patriots (15 active and 4 on Injured Reserve) who have a chance to win a 3rd Super Bowl ring. Those players are italicized below. Tom Brady can win his sixth.
