Welcome to first and 10, a roundup of all the (mostly) Patriots-related news you need to start your day:
Lots of talk this year about how football in America was struggling. About how it was in danger of dropping out of the top spot in the American sports hierarchy. And then, you get a week like this past one, where the National Championship was decided on a 41-yard walk-off that sent everyone into a frenzy and cemented Nick Saban as a a college football legend. Fast-forward to Sunday night, where, a 61-yard pass play ended with no time on the clock and sparked the most memorable "Skol" chant in Vikings history. All in all, it finished off a wild weekend for the NFL where three of the four divisional playoff games were decided by five points or less. Prettay, prettay good week.
