On a conference call with the media Monday morning, Patriots coach Bill Belichick said he hadn’t read the ESPN story that alleged there was tension between him, Tom Brady and Robert Kraft.
In the story, it was reported Kraft gave him a mandate to trade Jimmy Garoppolo.
“Well, I haven't read the article,” he said. “I’ve already commented at length on the (Garoppolo trade). I don't have anything to add to it."
The story added that Belichick was "furious and demoralized" at the prospect of trading Garoppolo.
"I'm not interested in responding to random, baseless comments." Belichick added.
Belichick was also asked if he intends to be back with the Patriots in 2018.
“Absolutely,” he replied.
