Masher: Riley Nash had two goals and an assist against the Senators. He now has four points in his last three games. His first goal at 1:25 of the second period was outstanding. He began when he blocked an Erik Karlsson shot. As the puck ricocheted into the neutral zone, Nash gained body position in front of Karlsson. Nash controlled the puck and went on the offensive with wide-open ice in front of him. Karlsson whacked away at Nash’s stick a half dozen times but could not break up the play. It’s a rare feat to outwork Karlsson.
