New team at the top. Chiefs and Niners on the rise. Seahawks and Chargers sliding. The playoffs are coming. Are you ready for the latest edition of our big board?


1. Patriots (11-3 — last week, No. 2): Serious question: Does Rob Gronkowski deserve at least some MVP consideration after his performance against the Steelers? This week: vs. Bills.

2. Steelers (11-3 — last week, No. 1): How does Ben Roethlisberger not throw that ball away, like into the fifth row, and set up what would be a game-tying field goal? He had a million different options, and he just chose the wrong one. This week: at Texans.

3. Eagles (12-2 — last week, No. 3): Like the Patriots, Philly is in a good situation. If the Eagles take care of business the rest of the way, they won’t have to get on a plane until a potential trip to the Super Bowl. This week: vs. Raiders.
