As expected, defensive lineman Alan Branch was officially announced as “out” by the Patriots Friday as the result of what the team is calling a knee injury.

The good news for New England?
Quarterback Tom Brady, who has dealt with an Achilles issue in recent weeks, is not on he injury report. Ditto for Malcolm Butler, who was on the injury report earlier in the week with an ankle issue. And cornerback Johnson Bademosi, who missed Thursday’s practice with what the team called an illness, was back at practice on Friday and was also removed from the injury report completely.
In addition, the Patriots have 10 players listed as questionable, a group that includes defensive end Trey Flowers (rib), cornerback Stephon Gilmore (ankle) and offensive tackle LaAdrian Waddle (ankle). Check out the complete report below:
