Injury list lengthens for Patriots as four sit out, including Brady & Van Noy

A total of 14 Patriots players were listed on the initial injury report ahead of Monday night's game in Miami, with four not participating in Thursday session.

Tom Brady (Achilles), Marcus Cannon (ankle), Kyle Van Noy (calf) and Deatrich Wise (foot) all sat out on Thursday. It's not all that alarming because this is basically a Wednesday during a normal week. Brady has missed the previous two midweek sessions as veteran's rest.

Cannon has been out an extended period, and Van Noy missed practice last week but gutted out an appearance against the Bills before leaving with the gimpy calf. Wise is a new injury.

Patriots who were limited: Malcolm Butler (ankle), Marquis Flowers (knee), Trey Flowers (rib), Stephon Gilmore (ankle), Chris Hogan (shoulder), Brandon King (hamstring), Eric Rowe (groin), Matthew Slater  (hamstring), LaAdrian Waddle (ankle).

Trevor Reilly (concussion) was a full participant.

Dolphins players who missed practice: OG Jermon Bushrod (foot), QB Matt Moore (foot), DT Ndamukong Suh (knee), CB Cordea Tankerley (ankle/shoulder), S Michael Thomas (knee), RB Damien Williams (shoulder).
