Source: Patriots set to add WR Kumerow to practice squad

The Patriots will add wide receiver Jake Kumerow to the practice squad, a league source confirmed Thursday.



The 25-year-old worked out for the Patriots earlier this week. The former Cincinnati receiver is a 6-foot-4, 206-pounder who was waived by the Bengals in September. A product of of Wisconsin-Whitewater, he joined the Bengals as a college free agent signee in 2015., and was on the practice squad in Cincy for most of the last two years. (He was on the 53-player roster and inactive for one game in 2016.) He has yet to catch a pass in the NFL.
