Bruins forward Noel Acciari will be sidelined six weeks after having surgery to repair a broken left index finger. He suffered the injury during Thursday's 4-3 win over the Nashville Predators Thursday night at TD Garden.
"That’s a tough one," Bruce Cassidy told reporters after practice on Saturday. "He's a guy that will put himself in harm’s way at a moment’s notice...he’ll be missed."
Acciari was playing on the fourth line with Riley Nash and Tim Schaller.
