BSJ Daily Briefing 09.22.17: Bruins ramp up

Good morning!

I love the smell of hockey in the air, and that's not just because the wife and I spend about six days a week ferrying our son to different rinks south of the Pike and east of 495.

It's because the Bruins are ramping up, and I couldn't be more excited. I know we had a delayed start with our Bruins coverage, but we hope you have noticed that since Joe McDonald (worth the wait) came aboard, the Bruins have not and will not be a second-class citizen on this site. Quite the contrary. Joe's been killing it with timely and original reporting during training camp, and that will only continue. Plus, not sure you knew this, but Sean McAdam is a closet puckhead and volunteered, even before we started, to pitch on the Bruins once the Red Sox are done. Plus, I'll be making stops over there as well.

Oh, did I mention the Bruins are 3-0 in the preseason and have some exciting new faces pushing for playing time? A lot to like.
