Well, that got ugly fairly quickly.
Yes, it was a stunning 42-27 loss to the Chiefs. It was a game the Patriots led and dominated at 17-7 near the end of the first half, and then all hell broke loose.
The defense was ravaged. Tom Brady looked like he was throwing against those old Rex Ryan defenses. Dont'a Hightower and Danny Amendola left with injuries.
Not a whole lot of fun.
But, the Patriots have 10 days before their next game, and Bill Belichick as their coach. Expect things to be tightened up real quick.
