BSJ Daily Briefing 09.07.17 taken at BSJ Headquarters (All Articles)

(Bob DeChiara/USA TODAY Sports)

Finally, football season is here.

As you can expect, we'll have plenty of coverage here today at BSJ, so make sure you keep checking in throughout the day. All sorts of good stuff coming your way, including columns, roster breakdowns, picks, and other goodies.

And, of course, there's the game, and we'll have comprehensive coverage of that.

Should be some scene with the nation focused on Gillette. Of course, you'll have the Roger Goodell sideshow (not sure what the point of that is), but more importantly, you get to celebrate banner No. 5. Make sure you take a moment to take it in. The players and coaches deserve that moment, but so do the fans. It was a long trek last season for everybody. Success isn't guaranteed (even here), so when you have a chance to celebrate, take that opportunity.

Ok Tommy, take it away....
