PREGAME NOTES

There will be plenty of reunions on the ice in this matchup. Nick Foligno, a former Blue Jackets captain (2015-21), will play against Columbus for the first since being traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs on April 12. The Bruins will also battle Sean Kuraly on the ice for the first time as a foe after the longtime B’s pivot signed with hometown Columbus back in July. 

Ahead of puck drop, Rick Nash will have his No. 61 jersey retired by Columbus — the first former Blue Jacket to get that honor. 

No lineup changes for Boston in this matchup, with Jeremy Swayman once again in net for tonight’s game.
