PREGAME NOTES

No changes at all to the Bruins' lineup in this one, save for Jeremy Swayman earning the start in net for Boston once again. 

After missing the last three games with an upper-body injury, Curtis Lazar re-joined his teammates for morning skate on Thursday. The forward will not play against the Golden Knights but could return to the lineup for the road trip finale in Columbus on Saturday.

When they’re healthy, the Golden Knights might be the very best team in the NHL. Thankfully for the Bruins, they’re far from it at this point — with key cogs like Mark Stone, Max Pacioretty, Alec Martinez and Mattias Janmark still out of the lineup. 

Jack Eichel is finally back in the lineup for Vegas, although it’s clearly taking him some time to get back up to speed. In his six games with Vegas so far, Eichel has posted one goal and four points while averaging 18:10 of ice time. In total, Vegas is 2-3-1 since Eichel made his debut.

Goaltender Robin Lehner, who missed five games with an upper-body injury, returned for Tuesday's win and stopped 16 of 17 shots to pick up his 20th win of the season in 35 starts. Despite his strong record, Lehner has been rather mortal between the pipes, posting a .907 save percentage.
