PREGAME NOTES

For the first time in 218 days, Tuukka Rask will man the Bruins’ net. The veteran netminder will get the start and make his season debut against the Flyers — a team that he has a career record of 19-2-4 against. 

With John Moore ruled out of Thursday’s contest due to an upper-body injury — Tyler Lewington will make his Bruins debut against the Flyers. The 27-year-old skater, recalled on an emergency basis on Wednesday, has played 24 games for Providence this season with a goal and three assists.

Philadelphia (13-15-7, 33 points) has lost five straight games and is tied with Columbus for the fifth spot in the Metro Division. The Flyers have not played since Jan. 8 due to COVID issues. 

Forbort and Clifton, who both entered COVID-19 protocol over the weekend, remain in isolation.
