PREGAME NOTES

Big news for the Bruins, as Bruce Cassidy noted ahead of puck drop that Brad Marchand will take part in warmups ahead of Saturday’s game. If he doesn’t get the green light to play today, Cassidy said that Marchand would likely draw back into the lineup on Monday. Fair to say, that’s a major break for the Bruins - because things did NOT look good for Marchand on Thursday. 

Tuukka Rask will get the start in net. 

Blake Wheeler, who has missed the last nine games due to injury, is ruled as a game-time decision for Saturday’s game. The Jets will be without one of their top wingers, as Nikolaj Ehlers is week-to-week with an MCL sprain.
