Final: Yankees 3, Red Sox 2
Isiah Kiner-Falefa accounted for all three Yankee runs on the night -- two on a homer and one on a squeeze bunt -- to send New York to a 3-2 victory over the Red Sox.
The Sox had taken a 2-0 lead in the fourth on a bases-loaded hit batsman and a sacrifice fly, but Kiner-Falefa drilled a pitch over the middle of the plate from Kutter Crawford in the top of the fifth to even things.
That's how they stayed until the top of the ninth when, with runners on the corners, Kiner-Falefa dropped down a bunt toward first, scoring Andrew Benintendi from third.
The Sox had the potential tying run at third with two down in the ninth, but Xander Bogaerts popped to first to end the threat.
