The Red Sox were swept by the New York Yankees Sunday, blanked 2-0 in a game shortened by rain to just six innings.

The Yankees scratched out a run off Brayan Bello in the fourth and added an unearned run in the sixth. In dropping their fourth in a row to the Yankees -- and fifth overall -- the Sox at least prevented Aaron Judge from tying (or breaking) the American League single season home run record. Judge had just two hits, including a first-inning double Sunday night, in the series.

The Red Sox managed just one hit off winning pitcher Nestor Cortes - a two-out double by Rob Refsnyder in the fourth inning.

Major League Baseball waited more than 90 minutes in a rain delay before calling the game.
