Tommy Pham slapped a single inside the third base bag, scoring Christian Arroyo from third base, giving the Red Sox a walk-off 3-2 win over the New York Yankees.

The Red Sox had raillied to tie the game in the ninth after two walks and a single to center by J.D. Martinez. The hit from Martinez was the first for the Red Sox since the fourth inning.

The Yankees had scored solo runs off Nate Eovaldi in the first and third to take a 2-0 lead before Alex Verdugo led off the fourth with a double and rode home on a grounder from Martinez that snaked through the infield.
