Final: Red Sox 4, Yankees 3 - Red Sox win 4th straight game, Dobbins pitches 6 scoreless innings
The Red Sox get their fourth straight win defeating the Yankees 4-3.
Boston's key to victory came from their starter Hunter Dobbins who pitched six scoreless innings on the mound. Dobbins limited the Yankees to two hits while also striking out five batters.
While Dobbins was on the mound, the Red Sox went out to a 4-0 lead scoring three of those runs against New York's starter Carlos Rodon. Carlos Narvaez got it started in the 1st inning after a misplay from shortstop from Anthony Volpe, Trevor Story got the second run in the 4th inning with an RBI double, Romy Gonzalez scored an RBI double of his own in the 5th inning, and Marcelo Mayer drove in the last run with a sac fly to the outfield.

After Dobbins left the game, the Yankees cut Boston's lead in half with Luis Guerrero picking up two earned runs and only getting one out in his relief appearance. Justin Wilson finished up the 7th inning, and the lefty pitched a 1-2-3 inning in the 8th picking up a strikeout against Judge.
In 9th inning, Greg Weissert came in to close the game out for the Red Sox. Weissert allowed one earned run, but he was able to get the job done leaving a runner at second base to end the game.
Another great pitching performance from a Red Sox starter, and another great hitting performance from the bottom of the order to pick up the win. Despite having no Chapman, Boston's kept the Yankees behind the entire way. The Red Sox are now 4-1 against the Yankees on the year.
Tomorrow, the Red Sox will wrap up their series against the Yankees with first pitch being at 1:35 p.m.

WHAT'S UP
The Red Sox play the second game of their series against the New York Yankees after last night's walk-off win from Carlos Narvaez.
The Red Sox dealt righthanded pitcher Brian Van Belle to the Cincinnati Reds for cash considerations. He was called up but never played a game for Boston.
Roman Anthony is out of the lineup for the first time since being called up. Jarren Duran is back in the lineup but is not batting leadoff.
