Final: Red Sox 4, Tigers 1 - Sox take third straight for sweep

The Red Sox cruised to their first series sweep of the season, beating the Detroit Tigers, 4-1, for the club's third straight win. The Sox followed a sweep by the Pirates at home with a series sweep of their own in Detroit.

Triston Casas doubled home one run and added a solo homer in the eighth. Rob Refsnyder singled home a run and Justin Turner accounted for another with a sacrifice fly.

Kutter Crawford picked up his first win of the season with five strong innings. Kenley Jansen loaded the bases in the ninth but earned his second save.
