Final: Red Sox 13, Royals 3

A day after being shut out, the Red Sox pounded out 20 hits and romped over the Kansas City Royals, 13-3.

The teams were tied 2-2 after two innings, but thereafter, the Sox outscored the Royals 11-1.

Rafael Devers led the way with four hits and knocked in three runs. Six other members of the lineup had multiple hits, with Tommy Pham supplying three RBI.

Nick Pivetta labored, but got the win, allowing three runs on seven hits over five innings.
