Final: Rays 8, Red Sox 4

The Red Sox' struggles with teams in their own division continued as the Sox were throttled by the Tampa Bay Rays, 8-4, dropping their record to 4-11 against the Rays this season and 18-38 against opponents in the AL East.

The Rays jumped on starter Rich Hill for three quick runs in the first and never let up. They added two more in the third, then tacked on three later against the Boston bullpen.

The Sox got two-run homers from Triston Casas (his first in the majors) and Tommy Pham to account for their four runs.
