Final: Red Sox 3, Orioles 1

Rich Hill saved one of his best starts of the season for his next-to-last outing, shutting out the Baltimore Orioles for six innings as the Red Sox went on to a 3-1 victory.

Hill allowed five hits -- all but one a single -- and fanned nine to record his eighth win of the season.

The Sox got solo homers from Abraham Almonte and Alex Verdugo. Verdugo also had a run-scoring single in the first inning.
