Final: Red Sox 4, Orioles 3

Snapping a four-game losing streak, the Red Sox got a go-ahead double from Eric Hosmer in the sixth inning and held off the Baltimore Orioles, 4-3.

The Orioles had rallied to wipe out a 3-0 Red Sox in the top of the inning, with the tying run scoring as starter Josh Winckowski bobbled a slow roller near first.

But Hosmer sent a booming double to the triangle to score J.D, Martinez, who had reached on a two-out walk, all the way from first,

Matt Barnes and John Schreiber combined to take care of the final nine outs.
