Final: Red Sox 6, Orioles 5 (F/10) - Red Sox walk it off in 10th inning
The Red Sox win their first game of the doubleheader against the Baltimore Orioles 6-5.
Hunter Dobbins got the start in the first game, and the rookie righty got into some trouble to start the game by giving up a two-run double to Ramon Urias. However, the Red Sox responded with two home runs from Jarren Duran and Wilyer Abreu which tied the game 2-2.

After the 1st inning, Dobbins found his stride on the mound only allowing one hit between the 2nd and 4th innings. Dobbins again found trouble in the 5th inning putting runners on the corners with no outs which ended his day on the mound.
Sean Newcomb took over for Dobbins, and the Orioles took a 5-2 lead with RBI's from Jackson Holiday, Gunnar Henderson, and Ryan Mountcastle.
The Red Sox were able to cut the lead right away with Abraham Toro hitting the third solo home run of the game for Boston.

After a 1-2-3 inning from Liam Hendriks on the mound, the Red Sox tied the game in the 6th inning with Carlos Narvaez and Nick Sogard picking up RBI's on fielder's choice plays bringing the score to 5-5.
The Red Sox received quality bullpen outing from Justin Wilson and Justin Slaten in the 7th and 8th innings, and a 1-2-3 9th inning from Aroldis Chapman gave the Red Sox the opportunity to walk it off. Boston's bottom of the order went 1-2-3 in the Bottom of the 9th putting the game into extra innings.
Greg Weissert got the ball in the 10th inning, and Weissert shut the door striking out two batters leaving the ghost runner at 2nd base. And with the Red Sox chance with the ghost runner, Rafael Devers lined a hit between shortstop and second base giving the Red Sox the walk-off win.
