Final: Red Sox 11, Twins 5 - Six-run third sends Sox to series win

The Red Sox erupted for six runs in the third inning and cruised to an 11-4 victory over the Minnesota Twins, enabling them to take the series. The Red Sox finished with a 5-2 mark on the homestand.

Every member of the starting lineup had at least one hit for the Sox, who pounded out 14 hits altogether. The Sox got homers from Alex Verdugo (solo) and Yu Chang (two-run shot).

Tanner Houck improved to 3-0, going seven innings -- a career high -- and while allowing three runs on six hits. He struck out seven and walked just one.
