Final: Red Sox 12, Mariners 6

Trevor Story belted three homers and the Red Sox erased an early four-run deficit to snag a 12-6 victory over the Seattle Mariners.

Overcoming a four-run second by the visitors, Story homered in the second and third, then added a three-run shot in his final at-bat in the eighth, good for seven RBI on the night. It marked the 35th time that a Red Sox had three homers in the same game,

Rich Hill stumbled and was lifted after fhe four-run second, but Tanner Houck took over and turned in his best relief outing of the season, going four scoreless innings and allowing just two baserunners.

The win was the fifth in the last seven games for the Sox.
