Final: Reds 5, Red Sox 1

The Red Sox lineup, which had been on a bit of roll, slammed into a wall Wednesday, managing just six hits in a quiet loss to Cincinnati, 5-1.

All six of the hits by the Sox were singles.

Connor Seabold allowed four of the runs in the first five innings. He didn't help himself with a walk, a hit batsman and four wild pitches.

The Reds added a solo homer from Donovan Solano in the eighth off rookie reliever Franklin German.
