Final: Braves 8, Red Sox 4 - Sox drop another at home

For the sixth time in their last seven games, the Red Sox suffered another loss Wednesday, dropping an 8-4 decision to the Atlanta Braves, who swept the two-game set at Fenway.

The Sox are now just 6-9 in interleague play this season.

Nick Pivetta allowed three runs over six innings to give the Sox a chance, and a three-run homer by Tommy Pham pulled the Sox to within a run at 5-4 after seven.

But just as quickly, the Sox' bullpen gave two of the runs back in the top of the next inning.
