Final: Blue Jays 6, Red Sox 5 (10)

The Red Sox losing streak stretched to four games with their 6-5, 10-inning loss to the Toronto Blue Jays and it would be difficult to find a more frustrating defeat all season.

The Jays pushed the winning run across in the top of the 10th when Cavan Biggio beat the throw home by Xander Bogaerts on a grounder by George Springer. Bogaerts' throw was high enabling Biggio to slide in safely as the Jays improved to 13-3 vs. the Sox this season.

The Red Sox had a handful of chances to take the lead in the late innings, but left baserunners at third base in the seveth, eighth and ninth. In both the eighth and ninth the Sox had a baserunner at third and no out. For the game, they were 3-for-20 with runners in scoring position.
