For the second time in three games, the Red Sox won a 1-0 game.

Winning for the seventh straight time, the Sox improved to 6-0 on their current West Coast trip. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Angels set a franchise record with their 14th consecutive defeat.

Bobby Dalbec doubled home Alex Verdugo in the sixth inning for the only run of the night.

Nathan Eovaldi and four relievers combined on the shutout, the Sox' fifth shutout of the season.
