Final: Angels 8, Red Sox 0

Locked in a scoreless pitcher's duel for six innings, the Red Sox imploded in the late innings and saw the Los Angeles Angels leave town with an 8-0 decision. The loss was the fifth straight series loss for the Sox.

Held without a run by starter Rich Hill through five the Angels broke out with a two-run homer from Jared Walsh in the seventh, then had the first five hitters reach in the eighth off Tanner Houck, who was charged with seven of the Angels' runs.

Meanwhile, Shohei Ohtani checked the Sox on six hits in seven shutout innings.
