Final: Red Sox 5, Tigers 2

Backed by a strong start from Josh WInckowski, the Red Sox defeated the Detroit Tigers, 5-2, for their sixth win in the last eight games and moved to six games over .500 for the first time this season.

WInckowski, making his third start with the team, limited the Tigers to two runs over 6.2 innings while allowing seven hits.

Franchy Cordero had a big night at the plate, with three hits and two RBI. Rafael Devers, Christian Vazquez and J.D. Martinez each knocked in a run.
