Final: Red Sox 14, Tigers 5 -- Sox paste Tigers for second straight win

The Red Sox raced out to 6-0 in the second inning, then kept adding on, with four homers as part of a 12-hit attack and a 14-5 thumping of the Detroit Tigers.

Rafael Devers belted two homers -- one a grand slam -- and Adam Duvall and Raimel Tapia added a homer each. Four Red Sox hitters had multiple hits. The Sox got two bases-loaded walks in the second to start building their lead.

Tanner Houck limited the Tigers to two runs over five innings to earn his second win of the season.

The Tigers managed three runs in the ninth off reliever Ryan Brasier.
