Final: Braves 5, Red Sox 0 - Red Sox get shutout for first time this season
The Red Sox lose the second game of their series against the Braves 5-0 only recording five hits on the day.
Spencer Schwellenbach got the start for Atlanta, and the righty went 6.1 innings, striking out 11 batters and allowing all five of Boston's hits. The Red Sox did not record an extra base hit in this game.
Walker Buehler got the start today, and he had a couple shaky innings on the mound. In the first inning, Buehler allowed an RBI hit to Matt Olson giving the Braves an early 1-0 lead.
Buehler had a rough 4th inning where he allowed four runs, the remaining amount of runs the Braves scored in this game. It started with a solo home run from Austin Riley, then an RBI single from Michael Harris, and lastly a Ronald Acuna Jr. home run.

Buehler struggled to keep runners off the base path, but he was able to pitch 5.2 innings.
Boston had a quality win yesterday, and they did absolutely nothing today to build off of it. Surprisingly, this is the first time the Red Sox have been shutout this year.
Tomorrow, Garrett Crochet will wrap up the series taking the start on the mound. First pitch will be at 1:35 p.m.
