The Red Sox pitching staff was the story on Saturday night, led by a brilliant five inning start by Garret Whiltock. Boston’s pitchers held the Snakes to a season low three hits and retired 25 of the last 26 batters. The Sox played small ball in the fourth, scoring two runs which proved to be all they needed.
