Final: Red Sox 1, Guardians 4 - Red Sox struggle in 7th inning, unable to keep one run lead taken at BSJ Headquarters (Red Sox)

(USA Today Sports)

Trevor's Game Notes:

Struggling bats: Other than Refsnyder and Abreu, the rest of Boston's offense didn't show up in this game. Refsynder got 3 hits in this game while Abreu drove in the only run of the game with a solo shot in the 7th inning.

Another strong outing: Houck pitched another great game despite not picking up the win. He pitched strong not giving up a run until the 7th inning. The defense helped Houck be able to pitch that late into the inning, saving him when he had runners on base.
