Final: Red Sox 3, Orioles 2 - Rafaela gives Red Sox the victory with clutch 9th inning home run, Boston wins third straight game against Orioles
The Red Sox win their third straight game against the Baltimore Orioles behind a clutch ninth inning home run from Ceddanne Rafaela.
Despite the Red Sox struggling at the plate the majority of the game, Boston got the necessary at-bats to give them the win, and also received another great start on the mound from Brayan Bello.
To start the game, the Red Sox jumped to an early 1-0 lead with another leadoff home run from Roman Anthony.

In the second inning, the Orioles tied the game. With two outs and a runner on second, Rafaela failed to make a diving catch in center field giving Dylan Beavers an RBI single.
Through the middle of the game, neither side was able to take the lead. After Orioles opener Detrich Enns left the game in the third inning, reliever Roansy Contreras pitched 4.1 scoreless innings completely shutting down the Red Sox at the plate.
For the Red Sox, Bello pitched consistently through seven innings limiting the Orioles to just one runner on base an inning. However, in his final inning on the mound, the Orioles scored again with two outs as Rafaela and Jarren Duran failed to communicate on a deep fly ball.
