DB Kobee Minor and LB Mark Robinson have been elevated from the practice squad to the active roster.

Dolphins

Signed CB Cornell Armstrong to the active roster off the practice squad and placed OL Austin Jackson on the injured reserve list. 

Elevated K Riley Patterson and RB Jeff Wilson Jr. to the active roster.

BEDARD'S KEYS TO THE GAME AND GAME PICK

• Be mindful of the field conditions at Hard Rock. It's been raining all week, and Miami-USF played on the same field Saturday night — with a weather delay — so the track could be iffy, although that turf is very resilient. Rain could also happen during the game.
• I watched the film of the Dolphins against the Colts and I think Miami's ineptness has been a little overrated. I think the Colts, minus Daniel Jones, are a lot better than people know. Very talented. Miami had a bad game on the road. I don't think it was disastrous. Tua Tagovailoa had a pick on a pass he floated, got blindsided on a strip sack, and Latu made a ridiculous interception - kind of a typical Drake Maye game.
• The Dolphins' defense, if you don't get to Tua, is still very explosive in the run and pass game. Don't take this team lightly.
• Then again, I have no idea about internal dynamics with Miami. They could very well be quitting. If they lose this, they have to go to Buffalo for Thursday night ... Mike McDaniel could be fired after that.
• The matchup of the game is the Patriots' offensive line against a very good Dolphins defensive line. They have good edge players and depth. Zach Sieler and first-rounder Kenneth Grant are talented on the interior. This will determine the game.
• Dolphins are light but fast at linebacker, not very disciplined.
• Secondary is a trainwreck thanks to injuries, which have resulted in poor communication. Sometimes they just don't cover the flat.
• Dolphins are starting backups at RG and RT. If the Patriots can't get pressure with just four in this game, this is going to be a long season.
• Some of the talk about the Colts just flooded the field vs. Tua is overrated. Everyone does that. The Colts actually have talent.

Line: Miami -1.5, 43.5 o/u

For now - and I could be WAY off on this - but I'm going to say that Miami's demise has been overexaggerated and I don't think the defense is ready for Miami's speed in the heat. But I think Drake Maye and the offense will have a fine day, and it could be a shootout.
