The Bruins lost to the Philadelphia Flyers 2-0 on Tuesday night at TD Garden. The Bruins were 0-4 on the man advantage tonight, including a 5-on-3 for 1:37.  Boston had good offensive zone time and puck movement during the power plays but passed on many shots.

Joonas Korpisalo made some great saves in the first period to keep it scoreless.

If not for him, this game could have gotten out of hand quickly. Korpisalo made 17 saves in only his third start of the season.

The Bruins had only three shots on goal in the third period alone. The lone mistake Korpisalo made was when Tyson Foerster beat him through the five-hole in the second period giving the Flyers a 1-0 lead. Philadelphia added a Joel Farabee empty netter late in the third period.

Boston got shut out by a Philadelphia team that came into the night giving up 4.22 goals per game. The Bruins were shut out for the second time in four games.

The Bruins will be back in action Thursday night when they travel to Carolina to take on the Hurricanes at 7 p.m.
