FINAL: Bruins 3, Panthers 2 (OT) - Boqvist steals and scores to complete season sweep of Florida

The Bruins improved to 5-1 over their last six and finished off a 4-0 season sweep of the Panthers, who ousted them from the playoffs last year, with an overtime victory thanks to Jesper Boqvist's heroics on the final play.

On Boqvist: "We've moved them up from fourth-line center to third line center now, because we moved Geekie up, right? And we like the speed up there with Jake DeBrusk and Boqvist together. We think that that can be an added weapon on our third line."

On the win: "We've grown and matured as a team here throughout the year, and how we've been able to win games in the last stretch here against, especially our last three games against three real high-end opponents, two on the road, one at home ... we don't like giving up that goal but, you know, they have great players too. Barkov made a great play, they tied it up. We just kept battling. And that's what I like is that we're just sticking with the process. We're staying in the moment, we're on to the next shift, not worried about anything good or bad that's happened in the past, we're moving on."

"I think everybody's really comfortable with who we are, how we need to execute the effort required and the physicality that's required. I think that's where our group now has confidence in how to close out games how to take games and how to push games out of reach."

THREE UP

David Pastrnak: Had just one assist but led the team with six shots and felt like he was flying at times, carrying the offense.

Penalty kill: Bruins killed off three power plays to make it 11 for 11 against Florida this season.

Linus Ullmark: The defense was stingy for the first period and a half but after that, especially in the third, the Bruins stopped moving their feet and Ullmark had to bail them out a few times. Made 29 saves.
