INJURIES

BOSTON

QUESTIONABLE: Jaylen Brown (knee)

PHOENIX

OUT: Kevin Durant (ankle)

THINGS I’M LOOKING FOR

1. Jaylen Brown’s knee: I’m assuming he’s playing, so this has to be the first bullet point no matter what. How will he look? Will he figure out how to be productive without being as explosive? Each one of these games is a step in figuring out how he’ll look in the playoffs.

2. Devin Booker’s shooting: Booker shoots 31% on pull-up 3-pointers and 37.4% on catch-and-shoot. Defend him straight up, clog the lane to discourage drives, and don’t give him any passing lanes. Having Porzingis patrolling the back line will help. Force him into pull-up shots and there is less of a chance he can carry them to a win.

3. Collin Gillespie: I figure I’d take a crack at which lesser-known guy will have a chance at burning the Celtics if they're not careful and this game’s prime candidate is Collin Gillespie. He’s a two-way player who usually scores in the single-digits, but he scored 18 on 50% shooting in his last game and 22 on 80% shooting three games ago. They lost both games, but still, when you find yourself screaming out “WHO THE F IS COLLIN GILLESPIE?” just know you heard it hear first.

Follow along with my thoughts as the game goes on. They’ll show up below and in the comments section, so hop in and share your opinion as well.
